What's the story

It's been 20 years when Karan Johar presented the iconic story of love and friendship, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'.

The movie has been a cult classic that redefined love for every youngster.

But, for all the fans of 'KKHH', here's some bad news. No, the sequel is not happening. KJo, when asked, categorically denied about any plans whatsoever.

Here's what he said.

Details

Reports claimed KJo planned to announce 'KKHH' sequel soon

Much to our delight, there were reports that KJo had a story in mind for 'KKHH' sequel. Bollywood Hungama even claimed that KJo had been working on developing the story.

"Karan has cracked an idea for a sequel. Now, all he needs to do is to develop it, which he's doing and pretty soon there will be an announcement," the source had stated.

But, the man clears the air about 'KKHH' sequel

Indeed the reports of 'KKHH' sequel got us excited. But contrary to the reports, Karan revealed that he isn't planning to make the movie.

In fact, this isn't the first time he has rebuffed the reports of 'KKHH' sequel.

Earlier also, the filmmaker had maintained that he cannot recreate the magic ever again as he was a lot more innocent back then.

Dream cast

In any case, here's KJo's dream cast for 'KKHH2'

Notably, the reports about 'KKHH' sequel cropped up after KJo was quizzed about his dream cast for the movie if he ever made it.

On this, he said that he would like to cast Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor.

That is indeed a perfect cast, but we wonder if KJo would ever change his mind about the sequel.

Never say never!
