Have you seen Karan Johar's Pakistan-based twin?
Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar, known for his glibness, was recently left "speechless" (by his own admission) upon spotting a tweet. This tweet was by one Pakistan-based Usman Khan who had attached a photo of his and posed a question, "People says i do look like @karanjohar is it???" While Karan was left stumped and surprised, Twitterati had a field day.
Not faking: He also attached screenshots of WhatsApp chats
Usman, who claims to be a friendship ambassador and a Chinese teacher-interpreter, also provided proof to show that he's not faking it. He posted screenshots of WhatsApp chats he had with people, where they remarked of his striking resemblance with the 46-year-old Bollywood giant. Meanwhile, Karan, acknowledging Usman looks like him, retweeted his photo, saying, "Few tweets leave me speechless....this is one of them"
Karan was surely taken aback!
'Host him in Koffee with Karan', 'make biopic featuring Usman'
This was enough for other Twitter users to have their share of laughter. While some remarked, "believe me you look better than him," others expressed disbelief by saying they actually thought it (Usman's photo) was Karan's teenage-time photo. Others suggested Karan should host Usman in his famous (and controversial) chat show 'Koffee with Karan,' or make a biopic featuring him as Karan Johar.
Meanwhile, how does Karan's year look like?
On the work front, Karan has a busy schedule. His production house has numerous films lined up: 'Drive', 'Student of the Year 2' 'Simmba', 'Kesari', 'Kalank' and 'Brahmastra'. He'd be directing Anil Kapoor, Kareena, Ranveer Singh, Alia, Janhvi, Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal for 'Takht.'
