It's been a month since Kapil Sharma had announced his small screen comeback with 'The Kapil Sharma Show 2'. Although he didn't reveal the launch date of the show, it was reported that Kapil has started working on it. Interestingly, there were reports that 'TKSS2' will also mark the much-awaited reunion of Kapil and Sunil Grover. But here's the truth behind these reports.
Kiku Sharda opens up on Kapil-Sunil reunion
The reports of Kapil-Sunil's reunion did make 'TKSS' fans happy. After all, Kapil and Sunil's onscreen chemistry is one of a kind. But looks like the audience will have to wait for this reunion as Kapil-Sunil are not working together for 'TKSS2'. The news was confirmed by Kapil's co-star Kiku Sharda aka Bumper who directly dismissed the reports and said, "As of now, no".
Backstory: Kapil manhandled Sunil in a flight
For the uninitiated, Kapil and Sunil parted ways last year after a mid-air brawl. It was reported that Kapil had manhandled Sunil during a flight in an inebriated state. Reportedly, Kapil was hurling abuses at co-star Chandan Prabhakar initially. When Sunil intervened, Kapil got miffed and manhandled him. Post the incident, Sunil along with Chandan and Ali Asgar walked out of 'TKSS'.
Kapil's apology got a hard-hitting response from Sunil
The fiasco created a lot of buzz after which several reports of Kapil's inappropriate behavior came into light. Although Kapil did apologize to Sunil on Twitter, the latter gave him a befitting reply. He advised Kapil to respect his fellow co-stars and show gratitude towards them. Sunil also said that though Kapil is best in his field, he should not act like God.

"We have done a beautiful show together and we made so many people laugh together. Currently, I am busy with shooting for films and about the future, I can't say anything," he had said.
