Comedian Kapil Sharma is all set to make a comeback on the big screen with the sequel to his 2015 hit film, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. The upcoming movie, titled Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, will see Sharma reuniting with producer Ratan Jain and directors Abbas-Mustan, reported Pinkvilla. The original film was a fair commercial success, earning ₹43 crore in India.
Sharma excited to return to comedy genre, says source
According to sources close to the development, Sharma has signed on for Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 and is looking forward to returning to the comedy genre. "He has liked the script and is expected to start shooting from the end of this year," a source told Pinkvilla. The film will be directed by Anukalp Goswami, who was one of the key writers of the first part.
Abbas-Mustan to supervise project; casting for female leads underway
The source further revealed that directors Abbas and Mustan will be creatively supervising the project. The film is being produced by Jain.
