Kapil-Ginni's wedding card
Kapil had confirmed the wedding dates in October
Kapil, who had confirmed the wedding date in October, shared his wedding card today seeking the blessings of his fans. The wedding card reads, "With great joy in our hearts and blessings of our parents, it gives us immense pleasure to announce that Ginni and I will embark on a new journey of love, respect and togetherness on 12th of December, 2018."
Couple first met in 2005 when Ginni was 19
The couple's love-story dates back to 2005, when they first met in Jalandhar. Kapil was 24 and Ginni was 19. Kapil had come to her college to direct plays and Ginni conducted auditions. She started liking him immediately but denied when he confronted her. The couple then had an on-and-off relationship, until Kapil finally proposed to her in 2016 and Ginni couldn't say no.
Kapil is gem of a person, says Ginni
Kapil first came out about his relationship with Ginni last year in March. Ginni, in an interview with Bombay Times said, "Kapil is gem of a person and very caring. There is no one like him and I can't find anyone better than him. He is a family man." She added that he is still humble the way he was years ago.
Wedding to be lavish, grand reception on the cards
It is said that Kapil and Ginni's wedding celebrations will go on for four days in Jalandhar. Kapil initially said he wanted the wedding to be low key, but because Ginni is the only daughter in her family, they wanted it to be a big fat Punjabi wedding. Also, post the wedding, Kapil and Ginni might host a grand reception on December 14.
