After show's suspension, Kapil says people want to destroy him
Kapil Sharma finally broke his silence after his show 'Family Time With Kapil' was suspended by Sony Channel, earlier this week. The comedian-actor in an interview with Bollywood Hungama said, "I know what I am doing." Reportedly, Kapil himself was unhappy with the new show and repeatedly said he wasn't having fun shooting it. After a while, the plug was pulled on it.
Head honchos of Sony have my back, says Kapil Sharma
Saying the show's fate is not sealed as of now, Kapil said, "My channel Sony Entertainment is completely behind him. Sony's helmers Mr. N P Singh and Mr. Danish Aslam are the most supportive people I've worked with. They believe in me."
Kapil is fine with people trying to sabotage his career
A few days ago Kapil went on an abusive Twitter rant and slammed journalist Vicky Lawani. Speaking on the row, Kapil said, "The people who want my career destroyed can spread whatever lies they want. I am not new to people piggy riding on my success. Let them, as long as it gives them the satisfaction they want. I know what I am doing."
Meanwhile, Vir Das isn't replacing Kapil Sharma
Kapil Sharma was served with a police complaint after the controversy. There have been rumors doing rounds that Vir Das may replace Sharma in the show. However, Das refuted the news with a Twitter post earlier today.
