Kapil Sharma's tantrums: Comedian ditches event at last minute
Just two weeks after creating controversy for making Akshay Kumar wait for hours, Kapil Sharma is in the news again for his notorious behavior. This time, he ditched a media event in Delhi, leading to losses worth lakhs for the organizers who had already booked air tickets for the comedian and his team. Earlier, Sharma had reportedly made them reschedule the tickets thrice.
Sharma reportedly "depressed" over poor reception of 'Firangi'
The show was organized by a popular Hindi news channel. Booking seven tickets for his team, three in business class and four in economy class, reportedly cost them Rs. 2L. However, after booking and re-booking the tickets thrice upon Sharma's instructions, he failed to turn up altogether. Sources said Sharma was depressed over the poor reception of his latest release, 'Firangi'.
When Sharma made Akshay Kumar wait for hours
Just two weeks before, Akshay Kumar, who judges 'The Great Indian Laughter Show', became a victim of Sharma's unpunctual attitude. Kapil reportedly left the show's team "disappointed" with a long wait of several hours, followed by a no-show. With such a record and reports of "depression", will he make it to fellow comedian Bharti Singh's wedding in Goa? We have our doubts.
