Kapil's former colleagues ditch him, join Sunil's web show
Things do not seem to be going Kapil Sharma's way as his comeback show, 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma', has opened to mostly negative reviews. Now, to add to the comedian's misery, his former colleagues Ali Asgar and Sugandha Mishra are said to have joined his arch nemesis Sunil Grover's web show for the upcoming eleventh edition of IPL. Here are the details.
Here's what a media report said
"It will be an out and out comedy series where the cricket angle has been smartly incorporated. For the first time, a comedy show will hit the web and with such a talented star cast, the makers are quite confident of making it a hit," the report said.
Why Ali and Sugandha parted ways with Kapil
Ali and Sugandha walked out of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' post the infamous mid-air brawl between Kapil and Sunil. Speculations were rife that Kapil's behavior had upset his entire team. Ali, however, maintained that he quit the show because his contract got over. He also mentioned that playing the same part had become monotonous and he wanted to try something different.
