'Trauma': Why Kangana Ranaut hates Bollywood parties
Bollywood actor and Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut, known for her outspoken nature, recently opened up about her aversion to the film industry's social scene. In a conversation with Raj Shamani, she shared her thoughts on Bollywood parties and why she doesn't have friends in the industry. The 35-year-old actor described these gatherings as "trauma" and criticized the lifestyle of her colleagues. Here are more details on this.
'A Bollywood party for me is like trauma'
Speaking about Bollywood parties, Ranaut expressed her discomfort. "It is embarrassing, the talks they are having. It's trauma, a Bollywood party for me is like trauma," she said. This revelation aligns with her known preference for keeping a distance from the industry's social events, unless they are related to her professional commitments such as film promotions.
'Bollywood people are just so full of themselves'
When asked about her friendships within the industry, Ranaut responded, "Look, I am not a Bollywood kind of person, okay. I can't be friends with Bollywood people for sure." She went on to describe them as "stupid" and "dumb," adding that they are all about "protein shake and that kind of a (life)." "They are full of themselves."
'They are like grasshoppers, totally blank'
Ranaut further elaborated on the daily routine of her industry peers. "If they are not shooting, their routine is they wake up in the morning, do some physical training, sleep in the afternoon, again wake up, go to the gym, again sleep in the night or watch TV," she said. She compared them to "grasshoppers" and questioned how anyone could be friends with such people.
Ranaut criticizes Bollywood's lack of intellectual conversations
The actor also criticized her colleagues for their lack of intellectual conversations. "They have no idea what is going on where they have no conversations, they meet, they drink (and discuss their clothes, accessories). I will be very shocked to find a decent person in Bollywood who can talk beyond impacts or cars," Ranaut said.
