'Dhaakad': Kangana Ranaut shares new glimpse as a fearless agent
Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut has shared a fresh glimpse from her upcoming action-thriller Dhaakad, featuring her in a fierce avatar. The actor took to social media and posted new stills from the sets of the movie, also shedding light on her character. Directed by Razneesh Ghai, it will also star Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta in pivotal roles. Here are more details on this.
Ranaut as the fighter 'Agni'
The 33-year-old actor took to Twitter and wrote, "They call her Agni... the brave one #Dhaakad. I say she is my depiction of Bhairavi the goddess of death... #Dhaakad (sic)." In the pictures, Ranaut can be seen in a bold avatar, holding a machine gun in the backdrop of a burning vehicle. She had earlier called the movie "India's first female-led action thriller."

Ranaut underwent intense training for this movie. She recently shared behind-the-scenes pictures and videos from the film's shooting and lauded her team for shooting the action sequences at the coal mines. "This kind of passion and commitment that artists and technicians express, it is never just for money," she said. The actor has also shed the extra kilos that she had gained for Thalaivi.
'Dhaakad' set to release on October 1
Written by Chintan Gandhi and Rinish Ravindra, the movie is slated for release on October 1, 2021. It has been produced by Sohel Maklai Productions and Asylum Films and co-produced by Qyuki Digital Media. As per reports, the story of the movie will revolve around the issues of child trafficking and crimes against women in our society.

Apart from Dhaakad, Ranaut has several other exciting projects in her kitty. She will be seen in the biopic based on the life of late actor and politician Jayalalithaa titled Thalaivi. She also has Tejas and Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda in the pipeline.
