'Queen' pair Kangana, Rajkummar come together for a psychological thriller
Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao's first outing together, 'Queen', was a cinematic marvel. The duo swept the audience off their feet by giving spectacular performances. Four years later, the actors are set to collaborate again, and we are already excited. Their new project is said to be completely different from 'Queen.' Here's more.
It's a thriller this time
After the heart-warming 'Queen', the duo is set to bring us a psychological thriller next. "It's a fast-paced thriller revolving around the two protagonists. Set in London and Mumbai, it is expected to roll in March. Both Kangana and Raj are looking forward to working with each other once again," said a news report.
Ekta Kapoor to bankroll the project
Producer Ekta Kapoor along with Shailesh R Singh will back the film, while Prakash Kovelamudi, son of renowned filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao will don the director's hat. Prakash has done some remarkable work down South as his Telugu film 'Bommalata' bagged the best film trophy at the 53rd National Awards. The Kangana, Rajkummar starrer will mark his debut in Bollywood.
The actors have their slates full
Both Kangana and Rajkummar are immersed in the shooting of their respective films as of now. While Kangana is occupied with 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi', Rajkummar has several projects in his kitty such as 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga', 'Fanne Khan' and 'Stree.' We cannot wait for them to recreate the magic on silver screen.
