The property is situated in the upscale Pali Hill neighborhood of Bandra and serves as the office for her production company, Manikarnika Films. Ranaut has not yet officially commented on this development.

The sale of Ranaut's property was revealed through a video uploaded by a YouTube page named Code Estate. The video showcased a production house office up for sale, and while Ranaut's name was not explicitly mentioned, the tour made it clear that the property belonged to her. This was further confirmed by viewers in the comment section who identified the actor's name. To recall, the bungalow garnered attention in 2020 when BMC partly demolished it due to alleged illegal extensions.
