    What's the story

Kangana Ranaut is all set to essay the role of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in her biopic Thalaivi and she can't stop gushing about the late politician.

Praising her, the Judgementall Hai Kya actress stated that she admires the renowned politician for her "immense strength and valor."

"I'm a fan of this particular quality of Jayalalithaa Ji," Kangana added.

    Here's more.

    Praise

Jayalalithaa and Indira Gandhi are incomparable in politics, says Kangana

Drawing similarities between Jayalalithaa and former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi, Kangana stated that both these ladies "are considered incomparable" in politics.

"Whatever task they had, they did it with full dedication and shined through it, be it politics or any other subject. Jayalalithaa Ji became Tamil Nadu CM thrice in a row, which indicates how much people loved her," the actress averred.

    Connection

"I see parallels with my own journey in hers"

This isn't the first time when Kangana got candid about the much talked-about biopic.

Earlier, the actress stated that she chose to do the biopic in the first narration itself as she "sees parallels with my own journey in hers."

"But her success story is much bigger than mine. I could see myself doing the part because it came naturally to me," mentioned Kangana.

    Quote

I'll learn the language to understand the character better: Kangana

Kangana, known to do justice to her characters, will begin preparing for the movie soon, and will be learning Tamil for this bilingual movie. "The scenes will be in Tamil. I'll learn it to understand the character better and feel closer to her," said Kangana.

    Languages

Jayalalithaa's biopic to be released in Hindi and Tamil

Notably, Jayalalithaa's biopic will release in Hindi and Tamil.

It will be helmed by Tamil filmmaker AL Vijay, who is known for movies like Deiva Thirumagal, Madrasapattinam, Thaandavam, etc.

Citing it as a big opportunity, Vijay is ecstatic about the movie and is also elated to work with Kangana.

"Making a film on Jayalalithaa's life is a big responsibility," he emphasized.

    Fees

Kangana is being paid Rs. 24 crore for Jayalalithaa biopic

Jayalalithaa's biopic might prove as a landmark for Kangana's career.

That's because Kangana would, reportedly, be paid Rs. 24cr, making her the highest-paid female actor of India.

"Kangana's being paid to the tune of Rs. 24cr for the project, which will be made in Hindi and Tamil. The makers are sure that her star-power will help reach a pan-India audience," a source stated.
