'Manikarnika' v/s 'Super 30': Kangana reacts on box office clash
Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi trailer was unveiled today and she has roared like a real warrior queen. The trailer has won hearts and is getting a thumbs up from the audience. While Kangana is ready to take over the big screen, Manikarnika will witness a box-office clash with Hrithik Roshan's Super 30. And here's how she reacted on this clash.
Kangana dodges questions about box office clash with Hrithik
Kangana's infamous brawl with Hrithik is one of the murkiest battles in Bollywood. The alleged couple had washed each other's dirty linen in public back in 2016 and does not see each other eye-to-eye. But their upcoming box-office clash recently got the tongues wagging for obvious reasons. So when Kangana was quizzed about it, she chose a smart escape by dodging the question.
Producer Kamal Jain comes to Kangana's rescue
While it was an awkward situation for Kangana, producer Kamal Jain came to her rescue and said that they have no update about Super 30 release. Apart from Super 30, Manikarnika will also have a clash with Emraan Hashmi's Cheat India. To this Kamal said, "We really believe in the product we have created. We are sure it will stand on its own merit."
Kangana decided to release the movie on Republic Day
Talking about the release of Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, Kangana said it was her decision to release the historical drama on Republic Day. "It was my decision to come on Republic Day. I have driven everybody nuts for it. The VFX studio is currently a battleground," she added. Interestingly, Kangana has donned the director's hat for Manikarnika and directed 70% of the movie.
Producers are all praises for Kangana
Kangana's dedication has amazed producer Kamal Jain and he can't stop singing praises for her. Kamal has been lauding the actress not only for her acting skills but also for her direction. "She's been very professional and proficient. We never felt this was her first movie as a director. To helm such a big scale of the film is not easy," Kamal told Pinkvilla.
