After Vikas, Kangana lashes out at Hrithik, calls him 'harasser'
Kangana Ranaut, who has been actively supporting Bollywood's #MeToo campaign, has lashed out at Hrithik Roshan (again) and called him a 'harasser'. The 'Queen' actress vented out her anger against Hrithik for making false promises of love and marriage to her. "There are men who make false promises of love and marriage to a girl to get them into a relationship that is also a type of harassment," Kangana said.
People like Hrithik should be boycotted: Kangana
Speaking about #MeToo, Kangana said, "There are married men who keep their wives as trophies and keep young girls as their mistresses like Hrithik. No body should work with them." Kangana also said that these people should be boycotted. This might start a fresh controversy (all over again) between Kangana and Hrithik.
Meanwhile, Vikas faces backlash, dropped from major projects
Ever since sexual harassment cases against Vikas came to light, the director has been facing a severe backlash from the industry. He has been dropped from Amazon's upcoming show and has also, reportedly, been dropped from the credits of his upcoming production '83. That's not all. He has also been issued a show-cause notice by Indian Film And Television Directors' Association (IFTDA).
Separately, she said Vikas deserves what is happening to him
Kangana also said that director Vikas Bahl (who has been accused of harassment by an ex-employee) deserves every bit of what is happening to him. However, she also said that there are many other people like Vikas who need to be called out. "We still have a lot of work to do it so we should not start the celebrations as yet," she added.
