Balika Vadhu' fame Pratyusha Banerjee's sudden demise shook the television industry. The actress hanged herself to death on this very day in 2016 and left her close ones reeling in pain. Remembering Pratyusha on her second death anniversary, actress Kamya Punjabi has penned an emotional message. Kamya has asked her late best friend to not rest in peace, rather sadly.

Pratyusha was found hanging in her apartment

On a fateful evening of April 1, 2016, the young TV star was found hanging from a ceiling fan of her rented residence in Goregaon. Reports suggested that Pratyusha's sour relationship with her live-in boyfriend, actor Rahul Raj Singh, took a toll on her. Rahul was later charged for abetting her suicide.
