Get ready for 'Biggest Action Entertainer'
The one-and-a-half-minute-long clip also features the marvelous crew working on the "biggest action entertainer." Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vikram will see the current hot favorite, Anirudh Ravichander, composing the music. Anbariv will be choreographing all the action with Girish Gangadharan looking over the cinematography. Along with R Mahendran, Haasan is also producing the film under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI).
Team finished shooting earlier this month
The release date announcement comes just two weeks after the team wrapped up the shooting schedule. Announcing the same with a short snippet from the set, Kanagaraj had earlier expressed gratitude to "the entire cast and crew for the EXTRAORDINARY effort! (sic)" in a social media post. In fact, to complete the shoot on time, Haasan quit his hosting duties on Bigg Boss Ultimate.
This is what we know about cast and their roles
While the exact plot details are being closely guarded, Haasan (67) is reportedly essaying the role of an ex-police officer in the movie. And, Sethupathi's character will serve as the main antagonist with Faasil playing a power-packed role. They'll be joined by Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Hareesh Peradi, and Shivani Narayanan to make up the cast. Vikram marks Haasan's comeback to cinema after four years.
