'Kalki 2898 AD' to premiere four episodic preludes before release
The highly anticipated film Kalki 2898 AD, featuring Prabhas, is set to release four episodic preludes before its official debut on June 27, Pinkvilla reported. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the first two preludes will reportedly be unveiled in the first week of June, followed by the remaining two shortly after. Each episode is expected to last between 20 and 25 minutes, adding to the excitement surrounding one of India's most expensive film productions.
Interactive fan event and OTT release of preludes
To generate buzz ahead of its release, the makers have planned an interactive fan event featuring Prabhas. Scheduled for May 22, it will offer fans a chance to meet the star in person. The preludes, which will showcase Prabhas's character from the movie, are set to be animated and released directly on OTT platforms. Adding to the unique experience, Prabhas himself has dubbed his character in these preludes.
'Kalki 2898 AD': A futuristic film with star-studded cast
Kalki 2898 AD is a science fiction movie inspired by Hindu mythology and features Prabhas in a futuristic title role. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone (in her Telugu debut), and Disha Patani, among others. Originally scheduled for May 9, the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections have pushed back the premiere date of the movie to June 27.

In addition to Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas is set to star in a horror comedy titled The Raja Saab, directed by Maruti. Rumors are circulating about his involvement in a sequel to his recent blockbuster movie Salaar, tentatively titled Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryaanga Parvam. Further, collaborations with directors Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Hanu Raghavapudi for their upcoming projects are expected.
