The film's opening day witnessed an impressive collection of ₹95.3 crore, reflecting its instant popularity among viewers. Despite experiencing a minor drop in collections on the second day, the movie bounced back strongly on the third and fourth days, earning ₹66.2 crore and ₹88.2 crore respectively.
Language-wise breakdown of collections
The Telugu version of Kalki 2898 AD was a massive hit on its opening day, raking in ₹65.8 crore, followed by the Hindi version at ₹22.5 crore, Tamil at ₹4.5 crore, Kannada at ₹0.3 crore, and Malayalam at ₹2.2 crore. The second day saw a total collection of ₹59.3 crore across all languages. Despite this slight dip, the film's overall performance remained robust throughout its run in theaters. It is now expected to reach the ₹645cr mark soon.
