'Kalki 2898 AD' rakes in ₹640.15cr in first 40 days
The science fiction film Kalki 2898 AD has demonstrated a robust performance at the box office, amassing an estimated ₹640.15cr India net within its initial 40 days of release. On its 40th day (Monday) alone, the movie garnered around ₹0.5cr across all languages. Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film features Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan in pivotal roles.
'Kalki 2898 AD' maintains steady earnings post release
Opening with a strong collection of ₹95.3cr on its first day, Kalki 2898 AD has managed to sustain steady earnings since its release. On the 40th day, the Telugu version of the film saw an overall occupancy rate of 15.7% in theaters. The highest occupancy was recorded for afternoon shows at 17.18%, followed by morning shows at 16.96%, evening shows at 16.35%, and night shows at a slightly lower rate of 12.29%.
Regional occupancy rates for 'Kalki 2898 AD' revealed
In major regions such as Hyderabad and Bengaluru, the overall occupancy rates for Kalki 2898 AD were recorded at 17.25% and 11.25% respectively. The Hindi version of the film also had a decent run on its 40th day with an overall occupancy of 11.83%. The highest occupancy rate was observed during night shows at 14.81%, followed by evening shows at 13.1%, afternoon shows at 11.21%, and morning shows registering the lowest at 8.2%.
