Veteran actor Kader Khan, who died due to prolonged illness on New Year's Eve, was buried in Canada today. His funeral was attended by family and friends sans the Bollywood fraternity. Although the entire Bollywood mourned his demise, his son Sarfaraz claimed that the actor was neglected by the industry. Sarfaraz also took a sly dig at Govinda who called Khan his 'father figure'.

Sarfaraz reacts to Govinda's 'emotional' tweet
Surprisingly, Sarfaraz laughed at Govinda's 'emotional tweet' and his statement highlighted the dark reality of the glamor world. He took a dig at Govinda's 'father figure' statement and questioned him if he ever inquired about Khan's death. "Please ask Govinda how many times he inquired about his father figure's health. Has he even bothered to call us even once after his death?" he added.
There's no affection left in Bollywood: Sarfaraz
Sarfaraz further slammed the showbiz industry's insensitive side. There's no feeling left for veteran actors, he claimed. "The top guns may be seen getting clicked with these retired veterans. But the affection goes only as far as photographs. No more. Look at the condition in which Lalita Pawarji and Mohan Chotiji died. This is the way our film industry has become," he added.
Khan was quite close to Amitabh Bachchan
In the industry where there are no permanent friends, Khan shared a close bond with Amitabh Bachchan. The two worked together in several hits. "There are so many people in B-town whom my father was close to. But the one person that he loved the most was Bachchan saab," Sarfaraz added. Sarfaraz also revealed that Khan spoke about him till the end.
Sarfaraz also talks about his dad's last moments
Khan's demise was certainly a sad moment for his fans. But Sarfaraz said that his fans would be relieved to know that he left with a smile on his face. "There was a smile on my father's face when he passed away. I cherish that smile more than anything else in the world," Sarfaraz quipped. He will continue to live in our hearts forever.
