BBGIRLS's journey with Warner Music Korea
The quartet, consisting of Minyoung, Youjoung, Eunji, and Yuna, released their double single album ONE MORE TIME in August 2023 under Warner Music Korea. This was their first release with the new label. Minyoung emphasized the importance of communication for their group's new identity during the album's launch. Their decade-long ups and downs and viral success
BBGIRLS debuted in 2011 under Brave Entertainment with the single album The Difference. Their journey over a decade saw numerous transformations, including a complete change in original members. Their 2017 song Rollin' garnered unexpected viral fame in 2021 due to a compilation video of them performing for the South Korean military. Eunji reflected on Rollin's viral success, saying, "We will be forever thankful for that moment; it was a miraculous gift for all of us."
BBGIRLS's accolades and farewell to Brave Entertainment
The group bagged several accolades in 2021, including Best Artist Award - Singer at the Asia Artist Awards, Artist of the Year (Bonsang) at The Fact Music Awards, and Best Female Artist at the Korea Broadcasting Awards. Before their association with Warner Music Korea and rebranding as BBGIRLS, they bid farewell to fans under Brave Entertainment with the song Goodbye in February last year. However, they reassured fans that this was a temporary hiatus.
