K-drama ratings: 'Lovely Runner' holds top-spot, 'Crash' hits record high
The Monday-Tuesday drama ratings war is intensifying with tvN's Lovely Runner holding its lead and ENA's Crash reaching its highest ratings to date. As per Nielsen Korea, Monday's broadcast of Lovely Runner saw a nationwide viewership rating of 4.6%, a slight rise from its previous episode's 4.3%. Concurrently, the third episode of Crash witnessed an increase in viewership for the third time since its debut, earning an average nationwide rating of 3.8%.
'Dare to Love Me' ratings dipped, 'LR' neared best score
KBS2's Dare to Love Me saw a decrease in ratings, with its third episode achieving an average nationwide rating of 1.5%, a drop of 0.8% from its previous episode's rating of 2.3%. On the other hand, the "talk of the town" K-drama Lovely Runner is nearing its personal best score of 4.8% as it continues to inch closer with the latest rating of 4.6% from the Monday broadcast.
'Lovely Runner' dominated in topicality and viewership
The 13th episode of Lovely Runner also achieved a countrywide viewership rating of 4.6% on paid platforms. In the metropolitan area, it claimed the top spot among Monday-Tuesday dramas with a viewership rating of 5.2%. The plot twist featuring Im Sol (played by Kim Hye-yoon) traveling back in time after being devastated by renowned artist Ryu Seon-jae's (played by Byun Woo-seok) death left viewers eager for the next episode.
'Lovely Runner' led in TV-OTT drama topicality survey
Lovely Runner continues to lead in terms of topicality, securing the first spot in the TV-OTT drama topicality survey for the second consecutive week with 58.37%. The cast members Byun, Kim, and Song Geon-hee also ranked first, second, and third respectively in the TV-OTT cast comprehensive topicality survey. The drama has held the highest viewership ratings for six consecutive weeks and achieved the highest viewership rating among women in their 20s among weekday dramas aired this year.

Adapted from the web novel Tomorrow's Best, Lovely Runner debuted on tvN on April 8. The series chronicles Im's journey, an ardent fan of idol Ryu. Im, a once-promising filmmaker paralyzed by an accident, finds solace in Ryu's music until his tragic death.
