Justin Bieber unfollows Diddy, The Weeknd, Selena's fiancé on Instagram
What's the story
Pop star Justin Bieber recently went on an "unfollow spree" on Instagram, disconnecting from some 25 accounts.
Among those no longer followed by the Baby singer are Benny Blanco, the fiancé of his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, and her former boyfriend The Weeknd.
Other notable figures include Drake and incarcerated rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs.
This sudden move has left fans puzzled and sparked speculation about possible reasons behind it.
Unfollowed figures
Bieber's unfollow spree included former collaborators and friends
Bieber's unfollowing spree also included Vice President JD Vance, SB Projects, and music producer Diplo. Fans were especially surprised that he unfollowed Drake with whom he has collaborated in the past.
The move comes at a time when Drake is reportedly losing friends due to his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar.
Bieber also disconnected from Scooter Braun's entertainment and media company, after he unfollowed the former manager last month.
Diddy controversy
Bieber's unfollowing of Diddy raised eyebrows
The decision to unfollow Combs, aka Diddy, has been a major talking point among fans. The two artists were once friends and have worked on several songs together.
In September, Diddy was arrested and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He has denied all allegations and is awaiting trial on May 5, held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.
