Justin Bieber married Hailey Baldwin again; pissed off hotel guests
Singer Justin Bieber and model Hailey Baldwin have gotten married, again! The couple had first tied the knot last year in a New York City courthouse and have since been looking forward to a religious ceremony with their friends and family in attendance. The religious ceremony finally took place on Monday evening at the Montage Palmetto Bluff resort in Bluffton, South Carolina. Here's more.
Wedding had 154 guests who arrived in boats
According to People, the Bieber-Baldwin wedding, planned by Mindy Weiss, took place at sunset at the Somerset Chapel with 154 guests present, including models Kendall Jenner, Camila Morrone and Joan Smalls, and Bieber's manager Scooter Braun. Guests arrived on boats as the resort is by the May River. Reportedly, Baldwin's sister Alaia and cousin Ireland served as bridesmaids. Currently, photos from the wedding haven't been released.
Baldwin threw bachelorette in Los Angeles last week
Notably, a week before the wedding, Baldwin had her bachelorette at the Ysabel restaurant in Los Angeles. The party later moved to the Delilah, a popular dinner and drinks spot. A day before the wedding, the couple had their rehearsal dinner at the Moreland Landing in Bluffton, a banquet hall. It was attended by 36 guests who also arrived at the venue in boats.
Post wedding, guests gathered at the Wilson Ballroom for reception
Right before the couple said "I Do," brief pre-ceremony cocktails were served at the Inn lobby lounge. After the vows, guests enjoyed post-ceremony cocktails followed by a formal reception at the Wilson Ballroom where dinner was served.
Bieber shared after-wedding photos
Meanwhile, some photos from the wedding have been floating on social media, however, they only show Bieber and Baldwin from afar. Bieber did share a couple of photos from before and after the ceremony- one of a Audemars Piguet watch, a "wedding gift" to himself, and another where the happy couple is seen in their wedding attire, albeit, from the chest-up.
Resort guests left pissed with Bieber-Baldwin wedding
Separately, according to TMZ, the Bieber-Baldwin wedding also caused an inconvenience to the guests at the Montage Palmetto Bluff resort. Reportedly, because of the wedding, the guests were barred from using the spa, a pool and a fancy restaurant, exclusively reserved for the wedding guests for 48 hours. The resort offered guests refunds, alternate bookings, and upgrades after they were left fuming.
Couple was officially married last year in September
The couple was married quietly at a NYC courthouse in September last year. The news was reportedly confirmed by Baldwin's uncle, Alec Baldwin, at the 2018 Emmys. The couple got engaged in July last year after a few weeks of dating. They are childhood friends.
