Paramount+ to premiere Julia Garner's 'Apartment 7A' this fall
Get ready for the spooky season. Paramount+ is preparing to exclusively premiere Apartment 7A, a prequel to the 1968 horror classic Rosemary's Baby, this fall. The film, starring Julia Garner and directed by Natalie Erika James, is set to launch ahead of the Halloween season. The original movie, a Paramount production directed by Roman Polanski, starred Mia Farrow and John Cassavetes as a young couple plagued by their peculiar neighbors.
What is 'Apartment 7A' all about?
According to the official synopsis, "Apartment 7A is set in 1965 New York City, and tells the story prior to the legendary horror classic Rosemary's Baby, exploring what happened in the apartment before Rosemary moved in." "When a struggling, young dancer (Garner) suffers a devastating injury, she finds herself drawn in by dark forces when a peculiar, well-connected, older couple promises her a shot at fame."
