Trailer: A sinister secret awaits in Julia Garner-led 'Apartment 7A'
The first trailer for the highly-awaited upcoming horror movie Apartment 7A was released by Paramount+ on Thursday. The movie, a prequel to the 1968 horror classic Rosemary's Baby, features Emmy-winning actor Julia Garner in the lead role. Set in the backdrop of New York City in 1965, Apartment 7A follows the story of Terry Gionoffrio, a character who dies early on in Rosemary's Baby.
'Apartment 7A' explores Terry's encounter with sinister cult
In Apartment 7A, Terry Gionoffrio, played by Garner, is an ambitious young dancer who dreams of making it big in New York City. However, after a devastating injury, she is taken in by an older wealthy couple, Minnie and Roman Castevet (played by Dianne Wiest and Kevin McNally). The film delves into Terry's interactions with the couple and her discovery of the sinister cult that they are part of.

'Apartment 7A' features a star-studded cast
Apart from Garner, Wiest, and McNally, the cast of Apartment 7A also includes Marli Siu, Andrew Buchan, Rosy McEwen, and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith. The film is directed by Natalie Erika James. In the original Rosemary's Baby, Terry was portrayed by Angela Dorian, while the roles of Minnie and Roman Castevet were played by Ruth Gordon and Sidney Blackmer respectively. The film is set to premiere on Paramount+ and will be available on demand from September 27.
