'The time is right': 'Judwaa' actor Rambha announces comeback

Veteran actor Rambha (48), who has reportedly starred in over 100 films in several languages, has announced her return to the silver screen.
The actor has been a celebrity judge on several television reality shows during her break from cinema.
Speaking about her comeback, she said in a statement, "Cinema has always been my first love, and I feel the time is right to come back and take on roles that truly challenge me as an actor."

Rambha further said in her statement, "I am looking forward to performance-driven characters that allow me to explore new dimensions and connect with audiences in a meaningful way."
She started her acting career with the Malayalam film Sargam, opposite Vineeth.
Her successful debut paved her way into Telugu cinema with Aa Okkati Adakku, opening doors for other industries.
Her Bollywood movies include Judwaa, Gharwali Baharwali, Beti No.1, and Kyo Kii... Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta, among others.
Kannada films
Rambha's significant contribution to Kannada cinema
Rambha has contributed immensely to Kannada cinema, having acted in at least eight films between 1993 and 2007.
She made a cameo as herself in Anatharu, directed by Sadhu Kokila. The film starred Darshan Thoogudeepa, Upendra Rao and Radhika Kumaraswamy in lead roles.
Some of her popular Kannada films are Baava Baamaida, Sahukara, Pandu Ranga Vittala and Gandugali Kumara Rama.
She later married Canada-based businessman Indrakumar Pathmanathan and took a break from acting.
