Kangana Ranaut's 'Judgementall Hai Kya' leaked online by Tamilrockers
Tamilrockers, which hits out at every new release of the year, irrespective of its language, has now targeted Kangana Ranaut-starrer Judgementall Hai Kya. According to media reports, the notorious website leaked the movie, a psychological black comedy, within hours of its release yesterday. The reports further stated that the movie is apparently now available in HD print for download on the website.
Aftermath of leak: Will its box office collection be affected?
Judgementall Hai Kya, which also stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead, opened to mixed reviews from audiences. Despite being one of the most-anticipated movies of 2019, the Ekta Kapoor product struggled at the box office and reportedly minted around Rs. 13.42cr on first two days. And now given the leak, the overall box office collection of the movie is likely to be affected.
Meanwhile, 'Judgementall Hai Kya' facing strong competition at BO
Meanwhile, Judgementall Hai Kya is also facing a major competition at the box office from Diljit Dosanjh's Arjun Patiala and The Lion King, though the former also, reportedly, witnessed a dull start. However, The Lion King can prove to a major hindrance to JHK's performance.
Tamilrockers has targeted 'Super 30', 'Kabir Singh' in the past
Notably, Judgementall Hai Kya is not the only recent release to be targeted by the piracy site. Earlier, films like Super 30, Kabir Singh, Bharat, Article 15, Spider-Man: Far From Home also became its victims. It even leaked The Lion King in both the versions. In spite of several Indian courts taking strict action against piracy, Tamilrockers continues to be a menace for filmmakers.
Despite strict court-action, piracy still out of control in India
In 2018, Madras High Court put a ban on 12,000 sites to curb piracy. However, among the banned sites, Tamilrockers alone had access to 2,000 of them. Although it has been banned innumerable times, they reportedly return with a different proxy server every time.
