It's a wrap! Janhvi Kapoor-Jr NTR's 'Devara' completes filming
The much-anticipated film Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR, has completed its shooting. The team is now shifting its focus to the film's promotions, which are set to begin in the first week of September. Devara: Part 1 is slated for a pan-India release on September 27. The film's recent completion of "patchwork" scenes marks the end of its production phase.

The movie is directed by Koratala Siva and marks his second collaboration with Jr NTR after the 2016 film Janatha Garage. The film also features Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. According to reports, Devara will showcase Jr NTR in dual roles, playing both father and son. The plot of Devara, which translates to "God of the Sun," reportedly revolves around forgotten coastal lands used for smuggling.

The film's music composer, Anirudh Ravichander, was recently accused of plagiarizing the song Chuttamalle from the Sri Lankan hit Manike Mage Hithe. The original composer, Chamath Sangeeth, responded to these allegations by stating that she admires Anirudh's music and is pleased to see him drawing inspiration from her work. She further suggested that the songs in Devara might be tributes to other tracks.
