'War 2': Jr. NTR injured on sets; shooting schedule pushed
Telugu superstar Jr. NTR has reportedly suffered an injury on the sets of his upcoming film War 2, co-starring Hrithik Roshan. The actor was preparing for an action sequence when he injured his hands, according to a report by Dainik Bhaskar. He has been advised to rest for two months, which has led to a delay in the film's shooting schedule.
Jr. NTR's entry scene to now be shot in October
The report stated that Jr. NTR's injury has pushed the Mumbai schedule of War 2 ahead. His entry scene in the film will now be shot in October, after he has fully recovered. This means that the shooting for War 2 will resume after the release of his pan-Indian film Devara, which is set to hit theaters on September 27.
'War 2' also stars Kiara Advani; to release in 2025
Apart from Jr. NTR, War 2 also features Kiara Advani in a key role. The film is a sequel to the 2019 action thriller War, which starred Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles. War 2 is scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide in 2025 and is directed by Ayan Mukerji. It's a part of the YRF Spy Universe.
