'Disney, I love': Jonathan Majors is open about MCU return
What's the story
Jonathan Majors, who played Kang the Conqueror, has said he is open to returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Even after being dropped by Marvel following assault and harassment allegation and subsequent conviction, Majors told USA Today, "Yeah, of course I say yes. Disney, Marvel Studios, I love them."
The actor, who's gearing up for the release of Magazine Dreams, added, "Tom Hiddleston, loved working with that guy. Loved working with Paul Rudd."
Marvel plans
Majors was previously slated to reprise Kang role
After playing Kang in Loki and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Majors was slated to reprise the role in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. However, after his conviction, Marvel Studios chose to distance themselves from the character.
This resulted in them shifting focus toward Doctor Doom, a role set to be played by Robert Downey Jr..
The forthcoming Avengers film was also re-titled to Avengers: Doomsday.
Other roles
Majors also expressed interest in returning to 'Creed III'
In another interview with Entertainment Weekly, Majors was asked if he'd return to Marvel as well as Creed III, where he plays Damian "Diamond Dame" Anderson. He said yes to both.
"The version of me that would come back to those places, though, would be different. I don't think anything different would happen between 'action' and 'cut.' That's why I got the job. But there would be something different about it if I were to come back."
