#GameofThrones: Harington reveals show's ending to wife, gets in trouble
Game of Thrones is going to create a pop cultural sensation when the HBO show premieres the eighth and final season on April 14. While details about the final season are being kept under wraps, the stars, of course, know how it all ends. Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, recently revealed the show's ending to his wife and got into trouble. Here's why.
Harington is married to co-star from the show
For those unaware, Harington married Rose Leslie, after romancing her on screen. Leslie played Ygritte, a tough Wildling who went on to share a steamy cave scene with Harington's Jon, during their adventures north of the wall. While Leslie's role ended after her character took an arrow, Harington's character has emerged as the clear protagonist.
Harington's wife refused to speak to him after getting spoilers
The King in the North and rightful heir to the Iron throne got in trouble after he spoiled the ending of the show for his wife, Leslie. Harington said in an interview with KISS FM, "I told my wife last year how it ended, and she wouldn't talk to me for about three days". Interestingly, Leslie had asked to know the ending, herself.
Harington gave wife spoilers, but didn't reveal anything to fans
While Harington might have given his wife spoilers, he played it coy with fans, refusing to reveal anything significant. About the final season, the star said, "It's quite nice walking around, which will only happen for a few months before everyone's seen it, knowing. I know and no one else does. I know how it wraps up. I think it's gonna be groundbreaking".
Giving spoilers runs in the Stark family, perhaps
Harington is not the only star guilty of revealing Game of Thrones spoilers. Maybe it runs in the Stark family, as Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, Harington's on-screen sister, also revealed spoilers to her friends. As we reported, the star said in an interview how her friends knew the show's ending, but fiance and GoT fan Joe Jonas refused to hear it.
