'Joker: Folie à Deux' IMAX release delayed in India
The much-awaited Hollywood flick, Joker: Folie à Deux, is all set to hit Indian theaters on October 2. However, if you wish to catch the musical psychological thriller in IMAX, you'll have to wait until October 4. This is because Jr NTR-Janhvi Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan's Devara - Part 1 is currently ruling the IMAX screens across India.
IMAX will follow its agreement with 'Devara'
A source told Bollywood Hungama, "Joker: Folie à Deux releases in the 2D, 4DX and Screen X on Wednesday, October 2." "As per the arrangement, [Devara] have a full one-week run in all the IMAX screens of the country." "Joker: Folie à Deux is having a mid-week release on Wednesday, October 2. The week for Devara ends on October 3 and hence, the Hollywood film can be made available to IMAX only from October 4."

Apart from India, the movie will also hit theaters on October 2 in Belgium, Colombia, Denmark, France, Italy, the Philippines, Sweden, and Taiwan. South Korea will get to see it a day earlier on October 1. Meanwhile, audiences in the USA and UK will have to wait until October 4 to catch this highly anticipated sequel. The film, directed by Todd Phillips, stars Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga.
