John Cena shares how SRK's TED Talk 'changed his life'
John Cena, the famed wrestler and Hollywood actor, recently disclosed that his life was significantly influenced by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's words. Yes, you read that right! During a visit to India for billionaire heir Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's grand wedding in Mumbai, Cena had the chance to meet Khan personally. Recently, in an interview with ANI, he revealed he got "starstruck" and "emotional" upon meeting King Khan.
'His words were beyond inspirational to me...'
When asked about the positive impact SRK had on him, Cena revealed that Khan's words from a TED Talk resonated deeply with him. "He (SRK) did a Ted Talk that found me at the right time in my life and his words were beyond inspirational...They helped orchestrate a change in my life." "And since that change, I have been able to recognize all the jackpots that I have been given...and work hard to make sure I don't waste them."
Cena recalled 'emotional' meeting with Khan
Further, Cena recalled his meeting with Khan as an emotional experience. "It was just such an emotional moment to be able to shake a person's hand that affects your life so drastically and tell them specifically what they did," he expressed during the digital press meet. He confessed that he was both "awestruck" and "starstruck" after his "fantastic" and "wonderful" meeting with SRK. Cena also praised Khan for his empathy, kindness, and sharing nature.
When Cena expressed his admiration for Khan during Ambani wedding
This isn't the first time Cena has expressed his admiration for Khan. Previously, after attending the wedding of Ambani, the wrestler shared his experience on his X/Twitter handle. He wrote, "A surreal 24 hours...An experience filled with so many unforgettable moments which allowed me to connect with countless new friends, including meeting @iamsrk and being able to tell him personally the positive effect he has had on my life."

Cena is currently preparing for the release of his upcoming film Jackpot!, helmed an action comedy film directed by Paul Feig and written by Rob Yescombe. The film also stars Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians) and Simu Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings). Jackpot! is slated to be released by Amazon MGM Studios via Amazon Prime Video on August 15.
