Over the years, Akshay Kumar and John Abraham have enthralled us with their crackling on-screen chemistry in films like 'Garam Masala', 'Desi Boyz', 'Housefull 2'. And we, as fans, yearn to see them together in a movie once again. That's why the rumors of a tiff between the two came as a disappointment. However, the superstars didn't take much time to clear the air.
John was said to be upset with Akshay
There were several media reports which stated that John was disappointed that Akshay didn't step up for him during his battle with KriArj Entertainment's Prernaa Arora over the ownership of 'Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran'. It was further reported that since Akshay shares a good rapport with Prernaa, he didn't want to sever his ties with her by supporting John.
The rumor did not prevail for long
Taking to Twitter, John wrote, "Heard that my brother @akshaykumar and I are fighting..he would beat me up :) Sorry to disappoint but NO truth to this. The only explosions happening currently are on screen in Parmanu :)" "Absolutely So proud of you brother @TheJohnAbraham, heard you've done a swell job in Parmanu...gonna catch it real soon. Hugs :)" replied Akshay.

After a strong weekend, 'Parmanu' is steady on the weekdays as well, courtesy the extremely positive word of mouth. The film has so far raked in Rs. 32.17 crore and is expected to cross the Rs. 50 crore mark soon.
