Clash?
'Tehran' set to compete with two biggies
With the announcement, Abraham also booked the release slot for January 26, 2023.
While Republic Day is a go-to slot for his usually patriotic-flavored films, the problem is, already two major Bollywood movies are poised to release on the same day.
These are Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone's Fighter and Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor's untitled movie.
Either we'll get a humongous clash or makers would reschedule dates.
Information
Ritesh Shah, Ashish Prakash Verma have written story
Whether Tehran gets a breathy release slot or premieres on a jam-packed date will get cleared up only in the future.
For now, we know, the film has been penned by Ritesh Shah and Ashish Prakash Verma but the exact plot is being kept under wraps.
We also do not have any confirmed name for the female lead, if one exists in the story.
Work
All about Abraham's next, 'Attack'
Focusing on Abraham, the Madras Cafe star will be greeting his fans on the big screen with Attack on April 1.
The Lakshya Raj Anand-directorial also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh, Prakash Raj, and Ratna Pathak Shah.
For now, the film faces no competition. The next movie to get released in April is Dhaakad, a spy thriller that's premiering on April 8.
