'Jigra' trailer starring Alia Bhatt will drop on September 26
The highly-anticipated action thriller Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, is set to release its trailer on Thursday (September 26) reportedly. The film, which is a prison break story centered around a sibling relationship, is directed by Vasan Bala and written by Debashish Irengbam and Bala. The movie is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Somen Mishra.

On Monday, Bhatt took to Instagram to share adorable pictures of herself holding flowers. The caption accompanying the photos read: "Phoolon ka taaro ka, sabka kehna hai #JigraTrailer ab jald hi aa raha hai (Jigra trailer coming soon). To note, Jigra is set to hit the big screen on October 11. The film is presented by Viacom18 Studios, Dharma Productions, and Eternal Sunshine Productions.

Teaser promised a gripping tale of resilience
Earlier in September, Bhatt released the first teaser for Jigra, which depicted the close bond between Bhatt's character and Raina, both of whom are orphans navigating life on their own. However, Bhatt's character must race against time to save Raina, who is imprisoned and facing a dire situation. One of the most striking elements of the teaser was Raina's rendition of the song Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna.
