'JGM': Vijay Deverakonda, Puri Jagannadh's second collaboration gets release date
Actor Vijay Deverakonda and director Puri Jagannadh are teaming up again! The two will collaborate on a film titled JGM, the shooting of which commences next month. While JGM stands for Jana Gana Mana, makers have chosen to name the film JGM because that will be the title of the mission Deverakonda's character will reportedly be leading in the film. Here are more details.
Why does this story matter?
Deverakonda is mostly known for his romantic films like Dear Comrade and Pelli Choopulu, but now, it seems he wants to break this image. That's why he earlier signed Liger, an upcoming sports drama that will be high on action. JGM is also touted to be an action entertainer and its just-released poster indicates the same as well. We say, bring it on, Deverakonda!
Know about the announcement
The poster shared by Deverakonda has an urgent feel to it. It shows the Indian map, bereft of the state demarcation, getting attacked by missiles, and soldiers falling off from what looks like a chopper. We also spot bullets and fighter jets. Along with this, Deverakonda dropped a video featuring himself in a military uniform, inside a chopper, and a set of three photos.

The pan-Indian film is likely to have Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady and will be shot across several international locations.
What did Deverakonda, producer say of the film?

I am honored to be a part of Puri's dream project." Meanwhile, Paidipally said, "We at Srikara Studios are confident that this film will tap into the conscience of every Indian."
