'Mr. & Mrs. Mahi' trailer to be released on Sunday
The much-awaited trailer for the Bollywood film Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, is scheduled to premiere on Sunday. The team announced this update on Saturday while also unveiling a new poster from the movie. The film will be released on May 31 and marks Kapoor's reunion with Rao after Roohi. It will be Rao's second and Kapoor's first release in 2024.

Alongside Rao and Kapoor, the film also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Rajesh Sharma, and Kumud Mishra in significant roles. The film is directed by Sharan Sharma, who previously directed Kapoor in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. The film is a collaborative production venture involving Karan Johar, Zee Studios, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Apoorva Mehta. While plot details are being closely guarded by the makers, it's known that Kapoor and Rao will be named Mahima and Mahendra in the movie.
All eyes are on the film's music
While we wait for the trailer, a recent Bollywood Hungama report has hinted at an interesting tracklist tidbit. Per the report, makers will rehash the song Say Shava Shava from Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) for the upcoming drama. However, "the recreation is not done for the whole song. Rather, they have only chosen to recreate the stanza that begins with the line Dekha Tainu Pehli Pehli BaarVe." It'll be played during an important scene between Rao-Kapoor.

Rao, whose film Srikanth was released on Friday to positive reviews, will next be seen in Stree 2 alongside Shraddha Kapoor. He is also awaiting the release of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Triptii Dimri. Meanwhile, Kapoor has Devara alongside Jr. NTR, an untitled film with Ram Charan, and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari in the pipeline.
