Janhvi is grateful to Madhuri for taking up Sridevi's role
Bollywood legend Sridevi was in top form in her second inning as an actress. Her next big screen outing would have been the second directorial venture of '2 States' helmer Abhishek Varman. However, destiny had some other plans as Sridevi left for the heavenly adobe. Now, her role in the untitled film has been taken up by Madhuri Dixit.
The announcement was made by Janhvi
Sridevi's elder daughter took to her Instagram account to share the development and thanked Madhuri for stepping into her late mother's shoes. The film is reportedly a multi-starrer and is being produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film would have marked Karan's first-ever collaboration with Sridevi. On a related note, he is backing Janhvi's debut project 'Dhadak'.
