Janhvi cooks biryani for Ishaan, Shahid and Mira: Details here
It was certainly a special Sunday afternoon for new kids on the block, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, as they joined Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput for a Sunday brunch. Not just that, Janhvi showed a special gesture for her colleagues, by cooking a delicious-looking vegetable biryani for them. Notably, rumors surrounding the newcomers dating each other have been doing the rounds.
Mira took to Instagram to share pictures of the brunch
Mira, who keeps fans updated with her social-media posts, shared several pictures of the starry Sunday brunch on her Instagram story. Captioning one particular story as, "Please appreciate Janhvi Kapoor's red rice veg biryani," she revealed a delectable-looking bowlful of vegetable biryani, apparently cooked by Janhvi. Moreover, the mouth-watering meal comprised salad, some dips, hummus, pita bread, olives, and veggies.
Rumor has it that Janhvi, Ishaan are dating each other
To recall, late actress Sridevi's daughter Janhvi and Shahid's half-brother Ishaan appeared together in Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak, last year. The film marked debut for Janhvi, while it was Ishaan's second film, after Majid Majidi-directorial Beyond The Clouds. Ever since, there have been rumors about the two newcomers dating each other. In fact, they are often snapped together at parties and the gym.
However, the co-stars have maintained that the rumors are untrue
In a certain episode of popular talk show Koffee With Karan, host Karan Johar asked Shahid whether the two are dating. To which, Shahid had replied, "Janhvi has been buzzing around him a lot." Subsequently, Ishaan said, "We go to the gym together, listen to music, whole lot of south Indian music which is not my choice but I have grown to like it."
I am in awe of Ishaan, Janhvi had earlier said
During another interview, Janhvi had said, "I'm in awe of him (Ishaan) and the way he approaches his scenes. Plus, he has great energy as an actor. But what helped me a lot was the fact that he is a more experienced actor than me."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi will soon be seen in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, a biopic based on the life of first female Indian Air Force pilot. That apart, she will also appear in Hardik Mehta's Roohi Afza, alongside Rajkummar Rao, and Netflix's anthology film, Ghost Stories. On the other hand, Ishaan is set to star in comedy thriller film Khaali Peeli.
