Johnny-Jamie Lever to spice up humor quotient in 'Housefull 4'
The popular Housefull franchise is coming up with the fourth installment and the movie is going to have an ensemble cast. And as per the recent buzz, there are two more additions to the cast of Housefull 4. According to media reports, father-daughter duo of Johnny Lever and Jamie Lever have joined Housefull 4 and will be boosting the humor quotient in the movie.
Jamie to share screen space with Akshay and Riteish
According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Jamie will be sharing the screen space with Housefull franchise regulars Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. "Jamie would enact her scenes with Johnny to improve her comic timing. The script has her sharing screen space with Akshay-Riteish. It's screenplay-driven humor, more in the situational comedy sphere, so it was all about getting the expressions right," a source stated.
'Housefull 4' to have 'Baahubali' touch of huge palace, costumes
The report further suggested that Housefull 4 will have elements of Baahubali in it but in a humorous way. "The Baahubali era is set-up of huge palaces and heavy costumes for which the actors underwent a special makeover with an element of humor in it," the source added. In fact, it will be divided into two eras with Johnny-Jamie being a part of both.
#MeToo effect: Farhad Samji replaces Sajid Khan as the director
To recall, Housefull 4 was being helmed by Sajid Khan initially, who had directed the previous installments of the Housefull franchise. However, he was asked to step down in 2018 after being accused of sexual harassment by several women during the much-talked-about #MeToo movement. Later, Farhad Samji, who had co-directed Housefull 3, stepped into his shoes as the new director of Housefull 4.
