Sukesh Chandrasekhar gifts Jacqueline Fernandez private yacht on her birthday
Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez, who turned 39 on Sunday, received a lavish birthday gift from incarcerated conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Per reports, the gift included a luxurious yacht and 100 iPhone 15 Pros for her fans. The yacht, named "Lady Jacqueline," is reportedly the same one that Fernandez had chosen in 2021. In his letter to the actor, Chandrasekhar assured her that the yacht would be delivered this month with all taxes paid.
'My Baby...my Bomma': Chandrasekhar's heartfelt letter to Fernandez
In his letter to Fernandez, the conman expressed his deep affection and admiration for her. He addressed her as "My Baby Girl, My Bomma," and added, "Baby as I always say, people grow older every year, but you grow younger, even more prettier every year." "Baby, this is my favorite celebration of the year that, I wait for, 'Celebrating You', one more year of this celebration without us celebrating together, however, our thoughts and our souls are connected."
iPhone giveaway for Fernandez's fans
Chandrasekhar also announced a giveaway of 100 iPhone 15 Pro devices to Fernandez's fans as a token of gratitude for their significant role in making her song Yimmy Yimmy a hit. The winners will be selected from YouTube by his team. He signed off with, "They say there is light at the end of the tunnel, but I say my Jackie is my light who is waiting for me at the end of the tunnel. I love you, my baby."
Chandrashekhar's philanthropic pledge for landslide victims
Apart from the yacht, Chandrasekhar also pledged a donation of a staggering ₹15cr ($2M) to the welfare of landslide victims in Wayanad, Kerala. He further committed to providing 300 homes for those affected by the disaster. He emphasized in his note, "I know, No Jet, Yacht, Birkin's, or Diamonds would give you Happiness than helping the needy. Hence I have deployed a complete team to work with the Govt of Kerala and execute the above-pledged suggestion on this special day."
Chandrashekhar's arrest and pending cases
Chandrasekhar was arrested on May 29, 2015, on charges including cheating and criminal conspiracy under Sections 420 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code. Moreover, his arrest also involved violations of the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act and the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act. Despite being granted bail by the Bombay High Court last month, he remains incarcerated due to multiple other pending cases against him.
