After Lata Mangeshkar's view on 'Chalte Chalte', Jackky Bhagnani clarifies
Jackky Bhagnani's upcoming movie 'Mitron' created a stir in the town after the launch of its song 'Chalte Chalte'. The number, a revamped version of the iconic song from 'Pakeezah', was dissed by Lata Mangeshkar. The legendary singer expressed her disappointment over the new version. Defending the song from his movie, Jackky has claimed the two songs were different. Here's what he said.

The revamped version of the song, sung by Atif Aslam, miffed Lata Mangeshkar. She said, "I don't want to hear it. This trend of remixing old songs saddens me. Where is the creativity in simply lifting acknowledged, beloved classics and shuffling the notes around? I've even heard that the lyrics are changed in the remixes." Well, we can totally understand her displeasure.

After the row erupted, Bhagnani came out in defense of the song and claimed they didn't spoil the sanctity of the original track. "I am sure she has a perception and according to her perspective, she is not mistaken. Ma'am please listen to the song once and if you still think the same then, of course, your wish is our command," he said.
Is 'Mitron' related to PM Modi?
Helmed by Nitin Kakkar, 'Mitron' bagged attention because of its title. The title was instantly linked to PM Narendra Modi and it was touted to be a publicity stunt. But Nitin clarified. "It has nothing to do with Narendra Modi, we completely love and respect the chair he holds and have no intentions to get cheap publicity whatsoever," he said.
