Now, Kangana and Bipasha accuse Gitanjali Gems of infringement
Days after Priyanka Chopra took a stand against Nirav Modi's jewelry brand, Kangana Ranaut and Bipasha Basu have accused Gitanjali Gems, which has been founded by Modi's relative Mehul Choksi, of default of payments and breach of contract. Kangana and Bipasha are the brand ambassadors of Gitanjali owned Nakshatra and Gili respectively. Here's more.
Kangana, Bipasha follow PeeCee's suit
Kangana, who had signed up for endorsing Nakshatra in 2016, has alleged that she has not been paid her entire fees till yet for promoting the jewelry label. On the other hand, Gili has been accused of using Bipasha's name and pictures even after the actress's contract got over.
Bipasha's statement on the issue
"My managers tried their best to stop Gili from using my pictures post my contractual period, but even though we sent them letters, they continued to use my pictures internationally too, because of which I lost many jewelry endorsements," Bipasha said.
Priyanka took the legal route against Nirav Modi
A few days back, Priyanka Chopra had accused Nirav Modi's diamond jewelry house of non-payment of dues. The actress featured in an ad campaign for the brand along with Sidharth Malhotra. Nirav, along with Mehul, has been accused in a staggering Rs. 11,400 crore fraud reported by the state-run Punjab National Bank.
