John's 'Parmanu' to now clash with Bachchan's '102 Not Out'
Even as John Abraham continues his legal battle against Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment, the actor has announced the release date of 'Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran' as he doesn't want the film to suffer anymore. The actor's production house, JA Entertainment, issued a statement announcing that 'Parmanu' will hit the screens on May 4, thus, clashing with '102 Not Out'.
Here's what the statement read
"Much in line with India's journey to becoming a nuclear power, our film's journey to its release has also had its own ups and downs! We are extremely proud of the film and can't wait to take it to our audience on 4th May, 2018," the statement read.
Producers John and Prernaa have parted ways
Pertaining to multiple release-date changes and default of payments, JA Entertainment has parted ways with KriArj Entertainment. Also starring Diana Penty, 'Parmanu' was initially scheduled to release on December 8 last year but was then pushed to February 23. The film saw yet another change in its release date as it was moved to March 2 and then again to April 6.
Meanwhile, trailer of '102 Not Out' has wooed the audience
Meanwhile, bringing together Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor on the silver screen after an elongated gap of 27 years, '102 Not Out' has been making the right noises since its inception. It will be interesting to see how both the films compete at the box office. '102 Not Out' has been helmed by Umesh Shukla while Abhishek Sharma has directed 'Parmanu'.
