Kamal Haasan-Fahadh Faasil's 'Vikram' finally finishes its shooting schedule
The shooting schedule of Vikram is finally over! Starring Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi, the action thriller wrapped up its filming after 110 days of shoot, informed its director Lokesh Kanagaraj on Wednesday early morning. In his announcement, Kanagaraj also expressed his gratitude to "the entire cast and crew for the EXTRAORDINARY effort!" For now, Vikram has no release date.
What do we see in the clip?
Posting a 0:15-second-long clip online, Kanagaraj confirmed that "it's a WRAP" for team Vikram. The yellow tinted clip, set in night, starts with Faasil shooting at something with his gun and Kanagaraj is seen standing next to him with another gun. After a brief conversation, the duo along with the entire crew exult "it's a wrap," with Faasil firing some shots in air.

What roles are the lead actors playing?
Faasil's get-up in the clip appears formal and if this is his look from Vikram, it seems he will play a character who is connected to the government. Meanwhile, Haasan is reported to play an ex-cop and will don khaki, 15 years after he wore one for Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Sethupathi will be the main antagonist. This is his second collaboration with Kanagaraj after Master.
What do we know of 'Vikram's post-theatrical rights?
Meanwhile, multiple reports suggest that the post-theatrical rights to Vikram have been sold for a stunning amount. Both the digital and satellite rights to Vikram have been sold for Rs. 112 crore. Also, its Hindi dubbing rights have been bought for Rs. 37cr. With this, makers have already recovered most of their budget, so it's profitable even before it hits the cinema halls.
What else do we know of the film?
Backed by Haasan's Raaj Kamal Productions, the film will be high on action, if the promotional clips or photos are anything to go by. Haasan, last seen in the sequel to Vishwaroopam, marks his comeback to the big screen with Vikram after four years. So, the anticipation around this movie is huge. Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Hareesh Peradi, and Shivani Narayanan round up the cast.
