Kidman plays the ever-poised mystery novelist Greer, who juggles funding her family's lavish lifestyle with protecting their reputation. She is decidedly not a fan of Amelia. To note, The Perfect Couple is helmed by Susanne Bier, who has previously directed critically acclaimed projects such as Bird Box, The Night Manager, and The Undoing. The series is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Elin Hilderbrand. It will comprise six episodes.
