Each day brings with it a new turn in Bollywood's #MeToo movement. Among the sexual predators named and shamed by women, singer Kailash Kher's name has also cropped up. Multiple women accused him of sexual harassment. Now in a shocking turn of events, reports suggest that Kher has been trying to intimidate the victims with a legal notice. There's no easy way for women.
Ashoke Pandit asks Kailash not to call victim's parents
The news of Kher intimidating victims came into light after Indian Film and Television Directors' Association President Ashoke Pandit posted a tweet on the micro-blogging site. Ashoke urged Kher not to call the victims' parents to threaten them. "Will request @Kailashkher not to call up parents of those victims who have complained against him and threaten them of sending a legal notice," he tweeted.

Sona Mohapatra also accused Kailash of sexual misconduct
Notably, Kher has been accused of sexual harassment by several women including singer Sona Mohapatra. Sona alleged that Kher touched her inappropriately during a professional meeting. And, that's not all. She also claimed that Kher asked her to miss her sound check session and catch up with him in his hotel room. Kher had even apologized recently for anything that was 'misconstrued'.
